Feeling like singing? Come by Gica on Thursday 7th, 14th or 21st of September to watch, listen or sing along. Whether you’ve sung in a choir before or just want to see if it’s for you: everyone is welcome at these open rehearsals. We rehearse from 7.30 pm to 10 pm in the Oosterkerk. And after the rehearsal, feel free to join our weekly drinks where you can get to know us.
In the coming six months we will be working on the project ‘A day’, in which we will perform music related to all parts of the day: from dawn with the first rays of sunshine to the dark night, ending in a deep sleep. In this project, various composers from all over the world will be featured, from Dowland and Lassus, Brahms and Mendelssohn, to Vaughan Williams and Whitacre. We will conclude this project with a concert in the winter of 2023-2024.
