Join Gica’s scratch (part 1) on June 29 and 30!
Are you between 16 and 35 years old and ready for a musical adventure? Our student choir is organizing a special scratch event, and you are invited to sing along! We will perform the beautiful Brahms Requiem together, accompanied by a four-handed piano. Whether you are an experienced singer or simply love to sing, everyone is welcome!
What is a scratch?
A scratch is an event where singers come together to learn and perform a large choral work in a short amount of time. This means you don’t need to rehearse for months in advance; instead, you learn the piece quickly under the guidance of experienced conductors and perform it at the end of the weekend. It’s intensive but above all very fun and rewarding!
We will do our scratch in two parts. The final performance will be at the end of part 2 of the scratch, which will be a weekend in October. At the end of part 1 we will record a video to be put online and do some fun activities together.

Preparation:
Although we will rehearse intensively over the weekend, we ask that you take a look at the music beforehand at home. This helps make the rehearsals run more smoothly and ensures we achieve the best possible result.
