Would you like to come and sing with C.S.G. Gica? New members are always welcome! Singing with Gica is a lot of fun, educational and – quite simply – addictive. We are always looking for reinforcement for all voice types (soprano, alto, tenor and bass).
Are you interested in joining us, but not sure how to go about it? Or have you never sung in a choir before and aren’t sure if it’s something for you? Don’t let that stop you! You are always welcome at our Thursday evening rehearsals to come and listen or to sing along. You can then meet the choir members and the conductor, and get to know the repertoire. Prefer to listen anonymously first? Then just come to a concert. You can find the dates and locations of the concerts on this website. After the concert, feel free to talk to the choir members and the conductor with any questions or comments you may have.
Open rehearsals take place when each project begins (in September and February) from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. in the Oosterkerk (E. Thomassen á Thuessinklaan 1). These open rehearsals are a good opportunity to get acquainted with the choir, the music and of course the singing! There are no auditions, so everyone is welcome. We rehearse every Thursday evening. After the rehearsal you are more than welcome to join us in our favourite local: the Padangbar!
Please note that there are two intake times every year – early September and early February. Unfortunately, it is not possible to enrol at an other time because we work on projects on a half-yearly basis.
