Cycling from one house to the next and enjoying delicious food with different constellations of people. Sounds like fun? It is!
I joint the GICA choir only three weeks ago with the start of the new project – the Messiah by Händel. Thus, the Cycling dinner provided a great opportunity to get to know other members. My dinner started with really tasty carrot soup and bread. After a bike ride, wraps were served as the main dish. Great for all the vegetarians and vegans to pick whatever they like. As a special highlight we had very cute company – two adorable cats, either sleeping or chasing imagined mice through the room. For the desert the journey let me in the city center where we got to try something none of us had ever eaten before; a wonderfully decorated cake made with rosewater (see photo). The atmosphere was instantly very warm and we had a lot of fun sharing stories from the choir and our different cultures. Then everyone, who still got some energy left went to the Padangabar to have a beer and to meet people from the other groups.
Al met al een heel gezellig avond!
